Jillian Hawkins graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a BA in Journalism before beginning her career in Human Resources. She earned her Professional in Human Resources certification from HRCI in 2022. She started with Lane Gorman Trubitt, a midsized public accounting firm, over 10 years ago as the HR Coordinator focusing on continuing education and training, and is currently the HR Senior Manager. She has experience in benefits and compensation, recruiting and retention, talent management, compliance, policy writing, program management, events, administration and other generalist areas. Jillian is a member of the DE&I Committee, Mentor Program and has previously served on the Young Professionals Steering Committee. Jillian is a member of Dallas Accounting Administrators, the Society for Human Resource Management, and the Young Alumni Circle of Phi Beta Kappa. She is constantly learning, always looking to gain experience and knowledge and make connections. When not busy with work, Jillian enjoys reading, watching Jeopardy, trying new Asian restaurants and spending time with her husband Matt and tiny dog Greta.

• Favorite Hobby: "I love to walk my dog Greta, read, listen to podcasts, and try new restaurants."
• Favorite Food: "I have a deep love for Asian food...probably Thai or sushi if I had to narrow it down. I love cooking Asian food at home too."
• Favorite Sports Teams: "Oklahoma Sooners and Dallas Mavericks."
• Favorite Place Traveled: "My honeymoon in Vancouver was awesome! Beautiful city, we rode bikes on the water, and ate lots of good seafood." 
  
• Favorite Musical Artist: "Third Eye Blind (have seen them with my sister maybe 10 times), Red Hot Chili Peppers, John Mayer, Taylor Swift."
